Our Story
Ivy Community Outreach, Inc. was founded in 2019 to address vital community challenges and provide support to those most in need. We currently operate as a local initiative, with the goal of growing into a dynamic nonprofit movement creating hope, forging partnerships, and driving transformation across the Hampton Roads region and beyond.
Our work spans from youth empowerment to financial awareness, and we are all focused on connecting individuals with opportunities and solutions powered by compassion and a strong sense of purpose.
2019-2020
Ivy Community Outreach officially founded- First major food & clothing drives launched.
2021-2023
Youth mentorship and financial wellness programs was added- Over 1,000 families served in Newport News
2025
Launch of new strategic initiatives for maximum local and regional impact.

Our mission is to bridge gaps faced by underserved populations by providing access to essential services, opportunities, and resources. Through education, advocacy, and empowerment, we focus on health and financial wellness, youth and community empowerment, and safety and violence prevention to foster thriving, sustainable communities.
To eliminate social and economic disparities and disadvantages experienced by underserved populations locally and beyond.
