Our
Story
Ivy Community Outreach, Inc. was founded as the outreach arm of Ivy Baptist Church in Newport News, Virginia — built on a vision to serve and uplift the underserved.
What began as a local effort to meet immediate community needs has grown into a powerful nonprofit movement of hope, partnership, and transformation.
From youth empowerment to health advocacy, Ivy Community Outreach exists to bridge the gap between challenges and opportunities, always guided by faith, compassion, and purpose.
2019-2020
Ivy Community Outreach officially founded- First major food & clothing drives launched.
2021-2023
Youth mentorship and financial wellness programs was added- Over 1,000 families served in Newport News
2025
Launch of new strategic initiatives for global impact
